    Konica 7022 driver issue

I have tried all the latest drivers and all the prints is a bunch of junk, actual words but more like info than what I wanted. The pcl driver almost printed a test page, printed over itself and did not finish

I tried the PS driver and PCL, I think the PCL work a little. The PCL printed part of a test page that says "if you can read this you have successfully...." all of that part printed over itself, the "Windows XP....." large logo partially printed and some indiscernible text at the bottom printed, that was all

Your system code is 5.8.2, the latest is 5.10.0 but no need to change it. First unshare the printer if it is shared, then from the prnter folder delete the printer, then choose file, server properties, drivers, delete all the ip422 drivers you see there, then reboot. You have now gotten rid of the mixture of drivers on your PC.

Download pcl driver 2.0.22 unzip it and then use the add printer method to install, if you are installing to print thru the NIC install a standard tc/ip port, when asked for the type of card scroll down the list and choose network printserver 1 port ( chose the 2nd in the list ).

When the wirzard is finishes add whatever options you have on the copier. and you should now be printing.

Note whenever you add or change driver first delete using the above method , if not you could end up with a mess of corrupt drivers.

Let me know how you made out.
