    Pf-501 wrinkling paper

I have client location with a PF-501 that is wrinkling lighter weight paper through the horizontal part of the pf-501. I have changed all three of the paper feed clutches to no resolve. There's no gear broken and the bearing doesn't apprear to be seized. Anyone with a similar experience. This issue has just shown up. Trays 4 and 5 do the same thing. As I mentioned earlier if I stop tray 4 on the vertical path there is no wrinkle til the horizontal pass to the c6500. Any thoughts or answers would be welcomed.

    Re: Pf-501 wrinkling paper

What weight is the paper? On this machine anything below 20# is not really supported. The other thing to check is make sure all the guides are in place and not bent or out of position. The last thing is to make sure all the rollers are turning together and not one slipping.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
