C6500 shadow bandings lead to trail

I have a new C6500 in the field and I've replaced the coronas twice before its first 100k pm. Changing the coronas corrects CQ a shadow banding from lead to trail direction in random areas. I've done the intermediate belt assembly mob and firmware is current ver 30. Any suggestions .... Thanks

Without seeing a sample can't really say much. However I'm interested what is new in version 30 f/w. Can you fill us in?

You could try cleaning the coronas with the tools inside the toner hopper.
It sounds like they're getting dirty quite quickly, i would check the filter out to make sure its not full of crap, or even if the fan is working.

I would first clean the process unit entirely again, cmyk 1st transfer rollers and contact then check:
    1. Dip SW 12-4 is set to 1 this improves gray balance
    2. Dip SW 23-5 is set to 0 IP gamma correction
    3. Dip SW 32–0 is set to 1 Uses Measured Gamma instead of Preset
do a printer gamma offset auto adjust, printer gamma offset manual adjust then an auto gamma adjust. Just a few things I would do.

Have you done the front and rear balance test pattern 53.
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.

Thanks guys I'll try all those tips my customer is running 160k a week so it won't take me long to find out some results. I performed a 200K pm last week so I'll follow up soon.

Unhappy Still banding only after 45% usage on coronas

All those dip switch settings were already in place and filters were cleaned. I'll try to scan a sample to better give an example.

Try removing (discarding) filter in back of machine.
