hi
f36-4 is open thermistor2
skumar
thank's i double check it and the message is still coming up any idea?
I don't muck around with these things the temp sensors fail if you look at them sideways and when the thermostat wears it will chew into the upper (heat) roller. Then you will have to reset the temp code.
The force will be with you always.
Maybe you removed the fuser with the power still on, when you changed the gear? Now you have a code, you must resset the code in 25 mode to clear it.
go to 25 mode dip switch 3 bit 1 put in a 0
F34, F35 & F36 codes must be reset using 25 mode.
Dipswith 3, bit 1 is the fuser reset command
0 is no
And 1 is yes
You must reset a fuser fault
I have the same deal going on with a Konica 1015. I am not a copier tech but our company is having me fix this copier since our local company was unable to fix it. I had to change the fuser. How do I get into mode 25? Dipswitch 3, bit 1, What is this and how do I do this?
Thanks,
Curtis
