Bizhub 420/500 adu clutches

anyone else had the duplex clutches fail? I have now done 3 sets in four weeks all around the 100K mark. I would have thought they would last loner than that.

Timing is all out, I either get a couple of sheets jammed up in the rego rollers or two sheets coming out of the fuser. I don't remember the jam codes but the only thing that fixed it was replacing the clutches.
The old clutches didn't make much of noise however the new ones make a definate clicking sound when doublesiding.

We have the same problems. We toke them apart and cleaned them with a degreaser. The gears have a lot of grease on them and we clened them als well.We also found out that the top clutch is hiting against the metal frame .We placed a spacer to prevent this.

I have come across that a lot. and they are fun to get out too. I see them go out about 100k or so. Be sure the FW is up to date also.

I have had luck just spraying them down with electro-clean. It's a nelectronics cleaner. It also works on the di2510/3510 feed clutches.
