Intermittent Add paper on tray 2

i have another problem on konica 7050.
its intermittent "add paper on tray 2" even though there is enough paper on the tray. i have checked for paper blocking on the rear side connector of the machine - no paper obstructing the connectors paper size switches/actuators.

what do you think is the common problem on this tray? is it loose solder/contacts on switches on the rear side of the machine (printed circuit board switches.

another problem: tray 1 cannot detect legal size paper even i manually pushed the actuators on the rear side of the machine. it only detects A3 size.

used to have problems withthose switches getting knock out of the back by customers slamming the trays closed to hard. i would leave them off for a while at certain customers offices to proove a point. you need to remove the rear cover and put them back in place against the frame.
