Just heard new firmware (A6)due out next week for the e range of machines, with 280 bug fixes....that's a lot of fixes...

It's also the new minimum allowed firmware on all E machines from here on as it takes into consideration "value engineering" (cost cutting) changes to the engines across the board.

Its a mass release firmware G20-A9 (in our area anyway)
We have been installing it for a few weeks now.

the G20-A9 means it will be installed from the factory and will become the new min for field engineers.

There is 280 fixes ...some really important , others are minor

There will be many firmware upgrades for these models
These are the first KM devices to use Linux as its operating system.
(All others were VXworks )
So this means there was always going to be many issues and firmware releases.
