Just to make sure that what I was concerned about would not happen, that is, being sold the wrong machine I requested that pictures of the machine to be taken and sent to me. The picture was sent to me but on arrival after several weeks.

I discovered that there were differences between the picture sent and the machine that arrived.

The first thing I noticed was that the badges on the front door was different from the one in the picture. The machine in the picture had the Konica Minolta Logo badge and the Machine model number Bizhub C6501 while the machine that arrived had just the Konica Minolta Badge and Bizhub without the model number on it which I find rather strange. I contacted them about this discrepancy and they told me the door was changed because the door of what was in the picture was damaged. I later took a closer look and discovered that the model number on the door was carefully erased, what was erased was c6500.

I have looked at the back panel where the model number is it indicates that it is a Bizhub c6501. Apart from the cosmetic changes on the body of the machine is there any way to tell either through the serial number or software on the control panel (touch screen) what model the machine is. I need to know so I can address the issue appropriately.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ubertech your knowledge would also be appreciated if you can contribute to this.

Thank you.
Rotexy
