    C1070 static problem

Has anyone experienced a massive static problem on the C1070. When copies exit the machine everything appears fine but as the prints stack on top of each other they become stuck together with static. Happens on all types of stock and paper weights. Machine is brand new.

I noticed that thin paper curls around the fusing belt, never though it would be a static problem.

Hi. I have exactly the same situation on a new C1070 - although uncoated paper is less affected. Also the machine gives electrostatic shocks all the time! Have you managed to resolve your issues - if so, how?

I would make sure that the anti-static brushes are all properly grounded in the finisher. Perhaps I might try to add a few more anti-static brushes. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Make sure your setting your paper correct. What type of paper and what weight.

We run all day and night and only have major static when we fold in our bindery...

    Good Luck...

What are the accessories for your machine? Is it using the dehumidifier?
