Prints are having slightly wobbly lines. My gut tells me it could only be the laser unit (PH). Waddayah guys think?

I'll second ... third that. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

This series I have replace more print heads than any other models combined. Normally though it is when then sound like a wind up siren but they don't show any issue on the print. In a couple cases they wind up and code out, but never have seen them cause image quality issues unless something was blocking the laser path.
That's EXACTLY my experience with the BH-350 series. This is the first time it give problems with the print quality hence I felt a little unsure. From the image it could only be the laser though, no way an image unit or else can cause this. This series I have replace more print heads than any other models combined. Thanks guys.

I have had the developer unit gear worn out enough to cause some issue but can't remember if it looked like your image. The gear skipping caused the lines to look funny but if it was that I think you would hear it. I do think it is the PH.
Had this issue twice on a single Canon IR BW range located in a very dirty enviroment. The waves was more pronounced than in your pics but after cleaning the laser unit everything was ok,lol.
Definitly PH unit.
Defects are simple, our mind is complicated
*SOLVED*.....for the moment.....
Since I was yesterday in that extreme lazy mood and didn't want to do the gruesome hateful job of replacing the laser unit on that BH-350, I cleaned the bushing and shaft of the polygon mirror and motor and.....Cha-Ching! Wobbled lines went away instantly.
Will sacrifice today a cute fluffy vertebrate to the copier gods hoping that the laser unit will remain stable at least a year like that.

so instead of removing the laser unit. you took the exit tray off and removed the top of the laser and did it that way?
I have had to replace lots of these series lase units as well
got quite proficient at it.. unfortunately.. lol

Yes that's what I did.
If they are making noise it is because one of the little beige colored lumps, which are applied at the factory for balancing the polygon mirror, fell off and is laying somewhere in the black box. Try to find it and put it back where it came from. With the proper light shining at an angle on the base of the polygon mirror you can see where it was originally sitting. I applied a very, very tiny drop of crazy glue with a toothpick at that spot first. Until now I managed to revive four units with this method.
