    Bizhub C6500 w/ Creo IC-304 RIP

Hopefully someone can help with this problem. I don't know what to believe from my copier salesman. I upgraded to a Bizhub C6500 w/ the Creo IC-304 RIP from the Bizhub C500 w/ a Fiery RIP in January. One thing we are having problems with is addressing pieces at the same time we are copying like we were able to do with the "Free Form" function with the Fiery. With the CREO we cannot find that same funtion and therefore the RIP tries to process the data for each and every address. Which kills it. I've found myself having to run labels instead of waiting. Does anyone have any info on this?

The one downfall of the Creo but there have been noises that Version two may have a freeform equivalent. There is a function on the rip but my memory fails me at the moment, this function rips common images much much faster if you have created the file correctly.

Basically from what I gather it finds the common elements in your file and holds them in memory to print faster.

You should have a look at the help guide on the rip it is very good.
