    Bizhub C364e Jam Code: 20-02

It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does jam out of tray 2 it makes a squeaking sound and throws jam code: 20-02. I have replaced tray 1 and tray 2 input assembly with a new one and it still happens. Anyone had any problems with this same issue or know a fix?

Here is the issue, paper coming out of tray 2 does not have enough drive to pull the paper out of the tray. The vertical transport roller has been updated to a grey roller but I have seen these still jam. I have been modding the side door to put more pressure from the white idle rollers against the vertical transport roller with great success.

Remove the plastic guide with the white idle rollers from the right side door (lower part of the door). Quite a few screws plus the lower door catch to remove. I have then scotch taped some Home Depot washers over 5 of the screw holes on the door then attaching the removed plastic guide and screwing it back on. The tape holds the washers and the screws punch through easily to reattach securely.

I recently revisited a machine I have modded back in August and there have been zero jams since.

Let me know if more description, part numbers or photos are required.

As for the squeaking, I have seen one where I had to remove the bypass assembly from the right side door and clean and lube the idle gears of the bypass drive. Very noisy.

The right side door assembly of the c224e through c554e seems weak. B&w the same.

Is there any way that you can provide some photos of the part you are talking about taking it off and a little more description on how to remove the cover to insert the washers.

    Thanks,
    John

Yes no problem, give me a little while to do a proper document for you.

The springs of the white roller have been modified with new ones with more pressure:

    Please see the attached pdf.
I was fortunate enough to run into this issue again today so I modded it and took fresh pictures. Also note that the springs mentioned in HoonBoy's post are definitely in need of replacement which may have also solved the jam issue however I have not ordered any yet.

Thank you for the additional information, I just ordered the springs today to try and hopefully that resolves my issue. I called Konica Minolta Tech Support today just for additional information and they told me to try the springs first and if that doesn't solve the issue to replace the Front Side Board followed by (if the Front Side Board didn't work) the Printer Control Board, but I'm really hoping that the springs fix the issue. Thanks for the information.

Where did you come across this information, just wondering if you don't mind? I called Konica Minolta Tech Support today and this is the first time (at least the support specialist that I talked to) he has heard of this. I couldn't seem to find anything about this bulletin in the Konica Minolta database. This is definitely what I'm going to try. I ordered the springs today, but was just wondering where you came across this bulletin?

Springs ordered but on back order of course. Curious to know where this came from as well.
