on page 1-3-148 of service manual for kyocera TA 250CI shows this under Adjustment/Maintenance under pressing system menu key;also i just recently saw print adjustment on a km2560 in same place as above
We must not have the same version of the manual. 1-3-148 of the Service Manual R7 describes U906 through U910 service modes.
For System Menu > Adjustment/Maintenance you might take a look at the Operators Guide R12.23 pg 8-54, which does not have a print density adjustment. AFAIK, it never had.
The only print density adjustment adjustment that I am aware of is a PreSribe command. For monochrome prints the default value is "3". To set print density to 4 (make the prints darker) send: !R! FRPO D4,4;EXIT;
If the same adjustment is available for color prints, I'm not aware of it. =^..^=

I did see the reference to print density adjustment on pg 1-3-164 of my SM, but in 7 years I have never seen it, and I have looked for it.
Try the PreScribe command. =^..^=
