I just happened to notice today that 302K906370/302K906350/302K06360 feed rollers for the KM-6500i/8000i are the same exact identical size as Konica Minolta's A00J 5636 00, and A5C1 5622 00.
Has anybody tried subbing in the KM (Konica Minolta) rollers into the KM (Kyocera Mita)? Even the rubber only transfer to the other hubs. I've got a couple Kyoceras getting 150K and less from the OEM rubber.

bumping this, I'd like to know if there are viable substitution as well.
How is the cost vs known life span on those rollers?
Idling colour developers are not healthy developers.
The KM pickup is $15 more. The feed and sep are $1 more each. ~50% more expensive, but a savings if it will double the yield (and the associated saved labor). =^..^=

Cat I used them a few month's ago for two FS4200DN printers to replace roller 302HS94032. Both machines made 60K until now without any problems.

Been doing this for a while now with great success. the neoprene compound works so much better on the Kyoceras. use them wherever you can from printers to small mfps to the 8000is. on some they just fit straight on on others you can just fit the roller without the core but yes they work great. have mentioned this to the Kyocera rep and they cant be seen to be using the Konica design. the only thing is there are lots of other problems in and around task alfa feed heads these days for instance they cant seem to get the separation tension right and that has an impact on roller life but yes fitting the Konica rollers is the way forward for sure.Originally Posted by Hansoon

Ah yes they are the same.
My first opinion over 3 years ago was that Kyocera had the superior roller.
Konica/Kyo compatible part...Helpful Hint
But then the Red Rollers came out so I alerted the forum that they were pretty universal and very superior.

And an added update. The Red Rubber is the same same as practically all Konica ADF Rollers. Remove rubber, spray some Windex to the hub and she'll slide right on.

Or use your roller press (yesterday's project):

3 1/2" of 1" copper.
Left cap drilled with 8mm hole.
Right cap drilled with 14mm hole, to accommodate the roller hub.
Temporarily assemble bronze bushing to left cap with 8mm x 24mm bolt and nut.
Assemble left cap, copper tube, right cap, then solder 3 joints. Let cool.
Cut away center part of the tube with Dremel cutter wheel, 45mm long by 1/2 the circumference
Remove the bolt, wash away any remaining rosin and clean up rough edges.

8mm shaft, 5 5/8" long. The end at the roller milled down to 6mm, 3/32" long.
It's hard to see, but there is a 4mm wide groove lengthwise, 20mm long, 2mm deep; to accommodate the plastic snap on the KM-8001i rollers.
Handle of your choosing, preferably with a smooth palm surface, pinned to the shaft and epoxied.
Post your picture, or better yet an improvement. I tend to over-build. You know, the ten dancing elephants test.

Then the grey ribbed roller will work on the pick-up as well and they are half the price of the orange ones.
