    Kyocera Taskalpha 4550ci user login

How do I disable the user login feature?

Need advice on a Kyocera Taskalpha 3550_4550_5550ci series color mfp. We do a ton of work on Ricoh,Canon and Konica but not a lot of Kyocera's. A local customer picked up a super low meter unit but the display is asking for a user login. In an effort to be very specific...... I am not asking for the admin or command center logins---just want to remove the user login requirement... Do I just reset this by initializing the machine in U021 mode? Also, tried to enter service mode (manual says 10871087) but service mode did not come up. Does the user login condition also lock me out of the service mode on this model or am I missing a something?

1 Press the System Menu key.
    2 Press [User Login/Job Accounting].
3 If the user authentication screen appears, enter
your login user name and password and then press
[Login]. For this, you need to login with
administrator privileges. Refer to Adding a User
(Local User List) on page 10-5 for the default login
    user name and password.
4 Press [Next] of Job Accounting Setting, and then
    [Change] of Job Accounting.
5 Press [On]. To disable job accounting, press [Off].
    6 Press [OK].

User login info was lost and certainly appreciate the reply but-----When you press the System menu key nothing happens. What do you think about trying to clear this in U021 by logging into service mode?

Also, tried to enter service mode (manual says 10871087) but service mode did not come up

1087 1087 gets you into service mode.

To update the above. I think you have to press the
status job cancel button first and from that screen then the 1087 1087.
