    Re: twain scan

I had trouble setting up a FalconII once with TWAIN. I just would not function. To test out the scanner NIC I installed the ScanFile Utility to FTP scan. It worked and scanned properly. Then TWAIN worked too. I don't know why. Then I removed the ScanFile Utility and TWAIN stopped working.

I left that customer with the ScanFile Utility installed and running, and not programmed for anything, just so TWAIN would work. I don't have any kind of explanation for it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    Re: twain scan

    Network TWAIN or USB TWAIN???

There may be a security protocol on the machine that needs to be set, especially if it is the network TWAIN.

Also--If you are using a special TWAIN hosting software, make sure in your security software (if you have any installed--AVG is a PITA!) that you have made an exception for all network connections for your scanning software!
