    Copystar CS-1500

    This copier is having a misfeeding problem from both the tray and the bypass which appears to be a timing issue that results in J40 error codes. If we turn the copier off and unplug it resolves the problem temporarily. Any thoughts as to why this might be occurring would be appreciated. Thank you.

    I would check the registration solenoid. These older machines the foam pad on them deteriorates and will cause it to stick and this maybe causing your issue.
