    Help with driver info

Customer has FS-1016mfp and purchased new computer with windows 10. The mfp did not plug and play when hooked up with USB cable.
Cant seem to find a correct driver to get installed. Tech support wasn't sure if this old machine is good with 10.Does anyone know if a driver
    is available ?

As it's only a mono machine, I would just pick a driver of a newer Kyo that does work on Win10. Knowing Kyo, lots of the driver stuff is kept the same (such as tray designations and duplex commands).

There is a driver download on their copystar.com website, but only has vista as the latest(32 and 64 bit) It might work.

Kyocera has a universal PCL driver that covers up to WIN 8.1. Not sure if it will work on WIN 10 or not but worth a try. You may also want to try an older HP driver. If you dont have access to the universal driver let me know...I can send them to you.

You might try the Win8.1 driver.

I've had some luck recently with an Oki C5200 and a Win7 driver on a Win10 OS. No guarantees, but what do you have to lose? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I was ALSO thinking along the lines of a generic HP PCL driver!...I put a Kyo in place that had previously be an HP printer and the prints came out no problem with the HP Print Driver!

    COOL!

If I remember correctly this old one is GDI only, I don't think it supports PCL.
