    TASKalfa 6550ci

I am working on a Kyocera TASKalfa 6550ci, that will not print clean prints, we have changed fuser, the IH Unit as well as updated the firmware, don't know how many times. While Plain paper comes out filthy, the toner will streak across the pages, it is at its worst when using a high quality paper, like glossy or cardstock. All basic settings when printing have been changed, such as choosing the media type and such.
I'm at my wits end and our normal tech support has run out of suggestions.

Has anyone here run into a problem similar to this?

What paper specifications exactly? Glossy paper is a headache for EVERYONE. Sure, there's a "Glossy" media setting, and it works OK on semi-gloss media but not on full-gloss media. It's just too slippery, and the clay in the full gloss paper will coat every roller in your machine. You'll be cleaning rollers daily, with only short term success.

My suggestion is to convince your enduser that it's in everyone's best interest to run semi-gloss medium weight paper. How will you do that? I surely don't know. I haven't had much success in that department. I just get dirty looks, and " ... the salesman said it would do full-gloss 250gsm ... " like that.

Sure. If you say so it's a printing press, not a photocopier. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

First question is: Where is the dirt coming from, I'll assume since you only mentioned fixing area you have ruled out everything else. Other than that I'm with Blackcat because Kyocera has always been a little lacking in the color fusing department, especially on heavy coverage or glossy, heavy stock. What type of jobs are they running or is it everything out of the machine?
