Kyocera KM3035 Copies are with black band on the back
Hello, I just serviced this machine Kyocera KM3035, and produces copies with the back of the page stained in black, I noticed the transfer roller is contaminated (and the drum also has a slight toner coat, I believe all of these symptoms are related, I have changed toner as well(cleaning the U.R.inside+out beforehand) and still the same, changed drum + blade for new ones and still the same.
Any ideas are welcomed
thanks!!
P.S. I also checked the preclean (discharge) lamps and they're connected Ok.

Could be the charger but I assume you replaced with a new drum. Had some of these in the field leaving background on the backside of copies. Turned out being non OEM toner causing issue. Check to make sure you have OEM toner. If not replace developer with new one and and put OEM toner in machine. I bet that takes care of your problem.

Yep, it's the poor quality toner inside the developer unit. Vacuum it, put the oem toner in and run U130. After 10 minutes it should be clean.

Developer Unit is defective, replace and check for correct operation.

Dirty black background on prints and copies is nearly always non-OEM Toner. Either replace or clean out Dev unit and reload with OEM toner.

vacum out the dev unit and use the same toner that you are using. You should get clean prints for a number of pages. IF, the problem comes back then vacum the dev again and change the toner. Also make sure the transfer roller is free of toner.
when you vacum out the dev, look at the mag roller and see if it has marks. If it does, then toner will stick to those marks and leave black line. in that case, replace the dev. if the mag roller is good then don't waste money in replacing it.

is there a background? or is the black on the reverse side? if the black is on the reverse side i dont believe the dev unit has anything to do with it. Id repplace the transfer roller and look at the fusor
