update the firmware. If still not fixed, format the hard drive and update firmware again. Don't ask for the firmware i, don't supply that item.

    1. Turn the main power swtch off and after
5 seconds, then turn power on.
    2. Check that the EEPROM on the main
circuit PWB is peroperly installed on the
main circuit PWB and, if not, re-install it.
    3. Replace the main PWB

Re: Kyocera taskalfa 3050ci jam 0100

We had this code before. Tech support said it's not really a jam code, but rather an error code. This was on a 3051ci. Here's what we did. Have not had the problem since:

    REASON FOR SERVICE CALL

J0100, J0110 intermittent, one C0800 code in log

    - reseated all board connections,
HDD, Memory, fax and fax DIMM
    (Made problem 10x worse)

    - replaced MAIN PWB for false jams
and locking up at reg roller

J01xx means: secondary paper feed donīt becomes ready..
System is checking all components before starting the registration drive by clutch or motor.
(Toner ready? fixing temp. ready?, any paper jams?, etc...)
Now system get the information that fuser temp. too low and youīll get J01xx.
Mostly paper inside from FK, or FK-belt damaged.
    You canīt repair the fuser.
Strange problem, because no C6xxx Call is coming up !!
Have had this problem several times in EMEA area.

Re: Kyocera taskalfa 3050ci jam 0100

    Thanks everyone,
As I said before after jammed twice it's giving error code as 0800.

Re: Kyocera taskalfa 3050ci jam 0100

As already suggested, it is most likely your Fuser.

I had this and kept this log...

    Symptom...

Paper is fed to the registration roller successfully and is paused, as normal.
The machine will then idle for around 40 seconds without further activity and then report a Jam. (J-0100 or 0110)
(During the Idling time 'processing........job' scrolls at the bottom with the two green lights flashing as normal)
When the Paper is removed and the Jam is released, this routine repeats.
Upon clearing a third time the system error C-0800 is reported and recorded.
    C-0800 - Image processing trouble.
That seems reasonable because it is the point at which Data should be compiled and sent to the LSU (before Paper registration resumes), that the machine becomes 'stuck' in this loop.

However, Noisy/Erratic Thermistor outputs were the cause.
Meaning that as the paper is presented at registration, the Main PCB waits for a stable FUSER temp reading before resuming with image formation.
All FOUR Thermistors within the Fuser unit (3 Lower, 1 Upper) were swopped with second-hand spares, taken from a saved Fuser which another end user wrecked clearing a Jam!!!

THANKS, I had one with a consistent jam 0100 code/system error 0800, manual says EEPROM/MAIN Board, replace main board. I searched here and found this. Removed fuser, and cleaned out a bunch of black chunks from the fuser. I think the chunks probably stuck to one of the thermistors, causing this error. Put it back together and error did not come back. Did have a bad developer, which possibly caused the black chunks. Thank you!!!!
