dv calibration (ends with dv n/g message)
forced toner command does not work

can only bring to ready by manual toner add from gear on toner cartridge

suspect engine control board but any suggestions before i order board

A few things:

Have you checked if your getting 24v into the toner motor (most motors are 24v dc)? check the toner hopper shutter is being opened fully - i have had a few toners not opening fully so they dont release the toner, the toner gear is not tight on the cartridge- a lot of customers stand the toner on its end making it compact down and so it can't move when the gear turns. The toner motor gear gets stuck so doesn't engage with the catridge when pushed in.
