We have also had to change a couple of Magents dev units for noise now....

Just had our 1st (and I doubt the last) full waste toner inserted into the machine as a new black toner.............and it goes in easily!!!!

I had heard that when they were used for waste toner boxes that they would no longer fit as toner cartridges. Guess that was wrong info or it doesn't work.

Thats what we heard as well.
Went to a Ta6052ci with poor quality, checked the black toner and noticed it was was in fact that tell tail brown colour, customer said they ran out of toner so just 'swapped' it with the full one already in the machine!!

Will do do some testing with a new one in the workshop tomorrow.

A bit disappointed with these boxes so far .

Strange...What I understood at training is that once you install the K as a waste toner it's not possible to reverse the process. But then, I wonder if you can install a full original waste container into the K and the box will recognize it...apparently you can...

Yep! My first service call on a TaskAlfa 6052ci today was for a mystery squeak. Customer said it is loudest in the morning when it's cold, but I never heard it. Did get some pretty good entertainment out of them trying to imitate the sound, though!
I'll check the exit rollers if it comes back and keep an eye on this thread.

    Thanks guys!

Problem in the way that if the customer EXCEEDS the 30% Color and 70% B&W, which I think is the correct ratio, and they print MORE color, you're either gonna be emptying the Black waste toner bottle for re-use (don't loose the gear!) if you don't have a spare waste toner! Not sure if there is a part number out there just for specifically the waste since it usually uses the black bottle to be swapped down and re-used!

    DOH!

    Re: New boxes

So each can use their own black toner bottle as a waste and their is one waste toner container that will fit all. Makes one wonder how different all those different toners are.
