TASKalfa 250ci - Pitch Black Copies

Good day, the Taskalfa 250ci I am working on makes complete black copies when copying through the doc feeder or from the glass.

Internal Prints are 100% correct.

I have replaced the CCD, ISM board and ISC board.

Firmware wont take, no matter what version I use it says no change for everything.

any help would be appreciated.

Poor contact in the exposure
lamp connector terminals.
Reinsert the connector. Also check for continuity within the
connector cable. If none, remedy or replace the cable.
Defective inverter PWB. Check if the exposure lamp lights when the terminal on the
inverter PWB goes low while maintenance item U061 is
run. If not, replace the inverter PWB.
Defective ISM PWB. Run maintenance item U061 and check if YC5-4 on the ISM
PWB goes low. If not, replace the ISM PWB

Thanks for the reply, but I have already followed the procedures in the manual. Looking for a solution that is not in the manual.

remove scanner glass and look and the carrier or for the scanner mirrors. in some cases there are little plastic sliders that ride along the rail. if these are broken then friction is built up causing issues with proper scanning of images. in parts manual look at scanner section 1 (fig 14) part labeled 35 (part number 2DC12230). these work like the sliders you use to move a large piece of furniture.

Does the lamp light? if it does, then is there a mirror out of place?
