    Kyocera FS1135 rest Command Center password

    I have a trade in FS 1135 and can not sign in to the Kyocera Command Center using the default password of admin00

    How can I reset this to gain access in the KyoceraCommand Center?

    Send this PRESCRIBE command:

    Code:
    !R! KSUS "AUIO", "CUSTOM:Admin Password = 'admin00'";EXIT;

    Never done this before... Where do I type this in at the command center? Should I copy and paste the entire command info that you just provided, and if so where?
    Thanks!

    Check my instructions for exact wordings. E.G. the word "put" needs to be typed

    1. Paste that password reset code in notepad. Name the file whatever, but remember the name and location

    2. Crossover to printer or get on network PC

    3. Open Command Prompt and connect via FTP To printer by typing

    ftp xxx.xxx.x.xxx (The x's are the printers IP address)

    4. Press enter when it prompts for a name and password (just leave blank)

    5. Now that FTP connection has been established tech should type in Command Prompt

    put folderpath\filename.txt

    Filename is whatever he named it in step one. You must add the folder path example: put documents\filename.txt

    Hope I don't ever need this but I do have a question. Will this task work with all Kyoceras? Thank you for posting these instructions.

    Re: Kyocera FS1135 rest Command Center password

    It will work on any Kyocera that has network port and an IP address assigned to it in the same subnet so you can ftp to it. Keep in mind this only works for a bit older models that only need password to log in. Newer models with Command Center RX use username and password defaulted to Admin/Admin.

    FS1135 prescribe admin00 screenshot.jpg

    Followed FTP directions above for FS1135. A you can see, I saved the command on the desktop, named the text file admin00. It seemed to be successful, but admin00 still doesn't work at command center. I can get in to the panel with user 3500, pw 3500, but need to set up scan, etc. GAWD, why do people change these things?
    Any other ideas?
    Thanks!

    When you ftp in, does the machine respond back as FS1135?

    Try sending this:

    Code:
    !R!KCFG"ELOG";EXIT;
    It will print an event log, so we can at least make sure we don't have an IP conflict and we're sending to the correct device.

    It was definitely connected to the FS1135. Only 2 pc's and this machine on the network, and command center connects fine at that ip address. It prints fine to the address as well, I just cannot get into command center beyond the password screen.
    Some one suggested going into the control panel via user 3500, pw 3500 and changing security to low security, then I forget what next. Maybe it will change the command center log in to user & pw and then use the default 3500, 3500? Then default machine settings?
    Problem is, it's a busy front desk hotel, in use. So I'm trying to get 100% prepared before I go back... again...
    Otherwise I'll bring another machine and do all this in shop. I have another with same issue, bought off lease at the same time, one digit sn apart, and 2 more bought with close sn's and similar meters, so possibly from the same original owner.

    Re: Kyocera FS1135 rest Command Center password

    I think the idea behind setting the device to low security is that it then allows the prescribe command to reset the command center password.
