    Kyocera TASKalfa 4551ci - calibration

Have a customer that has a Kyocera 4551ci that the copies are a bit light and she says the colors are off. Tried to do a Color Calibration on the machine but when you get to the point where you put the Calibration Page back on the glass and press continue it comes back with 'Measurement Page is not detected". And will not calibrate. Tried it from the PC on directly from the copier and get the same thing. Anyone had this problem. HELP

If your doing u410 that should only be done with a new drum, you can try auto calibrate in user tools, or change the color profile in u485 assuming all the consumables are still good, kyocera has a tendancy to print pale colors, i would try changing the color profiles,ko-konica to-toshiba,ca-canon we have been setting them all up using the toshiba profile but in the end its up to the customer, then set the color profile under the image tab on the driver to custom tables...hope this helps

First how does the color belt look? Clean the machine, optics, charge rollers, laser glass, ect. Fix the copy issues before you do the toner curve adj.

Yes, if the image quality is bad enough it will not do a successful toner curve adjustment. Let's see the U089 Sample Set? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
