Hi have you tried a memory card inserted in the main logic board with the capt file on it?

    This may work..

network the printer and get its ip address.

in the folder where the capt file is hold down shift and at the same time right click this makes the option "open command window here" appear.

    In command window type

    ftp ip address of printer

    eg

    ftp 10.10.10.10

Next press the enter key twice (no password required):

    type

    put 2HL_CLRreg_init.capt

or whatever the name of your capt file is

    and press enter
When you think you have made a procedure idiot proof your company employs a better idiot.

    Hi

ive not tried the Compact Flash card in main board as I didn't have a card reader to put the file onto it...

I will try the ftp (if you mean using Windows command prompt?). If this doesn't work I'll try the compact flash way as I a new card reader is due tomorrow.

You can also use Internet Explorer or just Windows file Explorer and type in ftp://ip address of printer. You should see 4 folders lp1-lp4, simply copy the file to one of the folders.
