Kyocera FS C8520 MFP Jamming in Vertical Transport

    Hi All

I have an issues with jamming in the vertical transport section on a Kyocera FS C8520. I have cleaned the vertical sensor. The paper gets to the transfer belt/ transfer roller and then just folds and jams in that area every time. I have run up the machine with the door open and noticed the transfer belt either does not turn or stops/starts in a jerking movement. The drive motor turns, so I am guessing the problem is in the drive assembly or clutch?

Has anyone else had this problem ? Is it a known issue ? And do you have to replace the complete drive assembly?

    Thanks

    Kevin

most likely a defective "middle transfer drive shaft".

    jam code? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
