The copier will come to ready and when attempting to feed paper from either deck 3 or 4 it sounds like a motor runs intermittently several times before stopping and going into error C2610. No paper has been fed from either deck when it happens.

Each time it's been the PF PWB. I've also changed the motor, just in case it was overloading the driver board. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Hi. I had the same problem on same model and it was a broken gear in the gearbox of the feed unit for trays 3 and 4.
The product may be brilliant and the salesperson proficient, but if the technician isn’t efficient, then the story will end there.
Thanks for the fixes guys. It ended up being a broken gear as Albert stated. TI help anyone else who comes across this thread the part number is 303NF94040 and it is Parts drive unit SP.
