CS 2551ci noise when running the paper feed motor

This unit makes a rattle or vibration I narrowed it down by running individual motor tests to the paper feed motor. seems to be coming from the exit aria or the transport section but i have lubed the gears and bearings with no luck. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is it squeaking?!...It's probably a plastic roller on metal shaft noise! In instances like this, I usually just get a can of WD-40 with a schnozzle and start spraying into the plastic roller metal shaft locations--usually the pressure rollers that push against the drive feed rollers. It could also be at a brass bushing at the end of the shaft of a drive roller. What you can do is take a fairly narrow funnel (you can roll one out of a piece of paper, yes, a funnel and stick it up to your ear while the machine is making the sound....this will help you localize and pinpoint the problematic location. I some instances, the vibration/sound travels the length of a shaft thus causing the whole cavity to resonate, making it harder to pinpoint the sound source.

    Good Luck!

This may seem like a long shot but we had a 3050ci that was making a strange rubbing/chirping noise when running the feed motor looking for the noise, ended up being the drum unit. These models seem to make a lot of annoying noises once they get some miles on them. Noise= headache

I had one of these intermittently making noise near registration.
I had to replaced the reg clutch under warranty.
