thank you so much
@Tulsa ... the waste system is the same, its all run from a unit in the machine rear. If you pull the rear cover you'll see the waste system, on the right side about 2/3 down you'll see the clear collection chute and a plastic/rubber tube attached to it. Inside the tube is an agitator spring that gets bound up. If you remove the system and reseat the spring/tube, this should correct your "full" waste box issue. PM me if you need more info.
QA G128 points out the clear downchute the tube/spring attaches to. get in there and I think you'll understand what I'm saying...

Hey Y'all,
The bulletin in question "G127" is useful for preventing this issue, however, if you have already screwed up your device, follow my instructions or PM me and we can get you to the solution. I specifically troubleshot this very issue with my instructor in Dallas (he's also my Regional Tech Rep so we worked on some of his dealer issues and this was the #1 issue.), I believe there will be a resolution posted at some point for this, however in the mean time, I may be it...

If it's a false waste toner full, that is what the bulletin addresses & what Murph is talking about. But if it's pulling toner & actually filling the bottle, that's a different issue.
Generally a high voltage leak is the only thing that would cause it to cycle toner right through to the waste bottle.
Hi
We follow G127 for transport , however several of the copiers were drop shipped and setup on location. Still we got a call from the customer for full waste tone in less than 20K . The "fix" was to simply remove and reinsert the waste cart. I'm wondering if somehow the cart is "walking" out of place?

Ok, I have a 3552ci displaying false waste toner full messages throughout the day. On arrival the readings in mm155 were none = 221, empty = 191, level= 20. After calibrating, now they are none= 233, empty= 187, level = 10.
If this is weight, why is empty lower than none? If it is counting DOWN to zero as it fills, why is a nearly empty container reading 10?
