    kyocera FS 6530 new machine

I installed this machine last week and didn't notice it at the time. The customer says that the ADF seems really slow, I'm going out to see , Does anyone have any ideas on settings to look for, something that would be the reason for it to seem slow. DPI settings , adf looking in color instead of B/W. any ideas would help Thanks

I would pull the specs for the FS-6530 and compare the spec speed to the actual speed. It could be that the customer is just used to a faster scanning adf. I wouldn't assume that there's a problem without getting eyes on it first. That's not exactly the Corvette of doc feeders...

Good Luck ... You'll need it! HAHAHA!

I figured I would look @ dpi settings and check the send settings make sure it's looking at TEXT b/w if the dpi is high it would slow down to be read better. I think, that's why I was asking. customer sounded a little sad ----- I said I would check some things Thanks
