Kyocera 2551ci Color issue (with samples)

This is a tough one. Colors shift towards Magenta, then back again in the same print run of 3. Recently replaced T-belt, T-Roller, Replaced Black Drum and Developer. Kyocera is recommending the High Voltage unit next. Yesterday it was doing this every 3rd or 4th print, today we only caught it once, running 28 pound paper through the bypass on thick setting. Installing the High Voltage unit next week. Hard to see in the scan, but the two arrows point to magenta blotches in the grey/blue background. The top arrow is just showing the reddish skin tone. Print 1 and 3 OK, but 2 is way off.

Have to agree with the hotline on this one, I think your HV is starting to go. Had one a couple of months ago with similar problems and it turned out to be the HV board. Also make sure that you vacuum all the toner dust. Toner dust is conductive and it could be starting to short out the HV voltage.

You're right. I can't see a thing in that sample. Try this original:
    Attached Files Attached Files
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks for the replies, will vacuum and post progress. Black Cat, did you look at page 2 of the linked PDF with the arrows?
    Thanks,

    Thanks,
I think the sample does not provide enough of a demonstration of the image quality issue. I would provide either a control sample set involving U089 or something that has more fill or coverage to troubleshoot symptoms from.
If you phrase your inquiry properly, you will get the answers you seek...

Good Luck ... You'll need it! HAHAHA!

The day I was there it only had the issue once, so I couldn't use a better print sample. High Voltage board replaced, problem resolved so far. If it returns I will post update. Thanks everyone!
