    c-6950 4551ci

    hi guys.

TASKalfa 4551ci after switching on error c6950 appears.(also with cover open)

24V on the IH pwb is oke.

    I already replaced:

    Low voltage unit (power supply)
    IH-pwb.

Firmware update gives IH update error.

    Every suggestion welcome.

    thanks in advance.

    grtz.

The IH board solved my KM-8001i. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    Hi guys,

    Today i solved the problem.

I replaced 2 flat cables between engine pwb en feed1 pwb.
Wire ffc feed 1 en wire ffc feed2.

    Hello all

Just got this code "C6950" on Friday on a Kyocera 3551ci and the machine is down, service manual states that it is an IH PWB failure and tells you to trace back starting at the Low Voltage PWB, then to Feed and Finally IH PWB . I checked Low Voltage PWB and got 118v and my Feed PWB checked out as well so I ordered the IH PWB. Went back today to install the IH PWB but unfortunately it didn't solve my C6950 , so I am going to try the white ribbon cables you referred to that fixed your machine, one of them is crinkled some. Will follow up and let you know what I find. Will probably bring a Feed PWB with me for good measure just in case my voltage readings were wrong.

    Thanks

What turned out to be fix? Was it the cables? I'm looking for bulletin 2N9-005 (looked on copystar portal and can not locate it) the reason I ask is I currently have a TA 455ci with this code and would like to know what the updated lvpwb difference is from the old one as I may need to order it. I looked in parts manual rev 5 and it still has the old one listed no updated pn.

Had this happen on a 3051ci last year. Ended up being the LVPS PWB.

    Bulletin 2N4-0045 (G074)
Corrective measure for C0980/C6950 (Change the temperature fuse of the 24V generation transformer on the LVU)
Change the material and shape of temperature fuse for the 24V generation transformer.

In my case it turned out to be the low voltage power supply. Also I can say with high confidence that I have had this code at least 4 other times at different accounts and all of them were resolved by the low voltage power supply. I also have had fellow techs with this code and recommended the LVPS and in all those it resolved the error. Apologies for not updating my thread sooner.

I have also found the fan above the main switch to be clogged and cause this issue. It's always worth it to check and clean it out on a service visit
