Many of the older Lexmark printers had primary charge rollers that mounted inside the engine, separate from the imaging unit, and lasted the lifetime of the machine. So it is possible to make durable charge rollers, just not by Kyocera. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The roller is a quantum leap from the grid/corona wire. I can handle some problems that can be fixed quickly. Kyocera is heads and shoulders above other models regarding logic codes, dimms, hdds and other non mechanical failures

It only took them 6 years to fix it. Hopefully this does it. I asume the MC-6705 will be updated as well. I did notice they also did away with the gears in the end of the charge roller.

Now if they would only improve feed rollers life...I'm not greedy....300k min. per set would be a nice bare minimum...

We use Minolta rollers. They last a lot longer.
