    Loading colour profiles

    Hi,

i have a customer complaining about the cyan not being cyan or blue enough on a new taskalfa machine. I heard it was possible to load other manufacturers colour profiles onto these machines

does anyone know the procedure? Also where do you obtain these profiles from?

    Re: Loading colour profiles

The profiles can be downloaded from the manufacturer site, and the procedure is outlined in the service manual.
If you phrase your inquiry properly, you will get the answers you seek...

Good Luck ... You'll need it! HAHAHA!

This function is depend on the actual model.

You can check the availability in the maintenance menu 485.
There are individual settings for copying and printing. Table 1 means the default color table and Table 2 means the table used when selecting custom mode in the KX driver.
type_ky is the Kyocera default table and type_st is ans sRGB like table. The other tables are for emulating the colors of different manufacturers. You can give it a try.

If you have the menu 485 and there are no available tables then you can install them in this menu from the full Firmware package of the device.
