    KM3035 Paper size setting

1 of our customers had a C1010 code on their machine for Tray 1.

I thought they could get around that by removing that tray and using the other ones. Well, the paper size was different in the other trays so
I sent them a copy of a couple pages from the user manual for that. They say the Management code didn't work. Is there some way to reset that?

Seems complicated way to go about changing the paper size. Do you have to do that also for the bypass?

    Thanks.

These trays self-detect, and it's extremely common to have them mis-read paper size.

Like so many other machines, there is a PWB with traces, and a comb that drags across it to identify paper sizes. You'll find pounds of paper dust and dirt in the tray. Once you get the tray cleaned out, clean the PWB with alcohol or contact cleaner.

Do not attempt to bend the comb. They break and deform easily. Apply a small amount of conductive grease to the comb before re-assembly.

IIRC there is no tray size calibration. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
