Scan to folder windows 10 kyocera

I tried to set up scan to folder. At the same customer, windows 7 worked and windows 10 gave me the following error; 1102.

I tried using the IP address and the host name.

Is there any special setting for windows 10 that would enable scan to folder?

1102 is an username/password error, Is the computer in a Domain Enviroment? If it´s so you need to use DOMAIN\user as user in command center.
I´d probably try adding a local user account(right clic on "this pc"/manage/local users and groups*/add user) and using it first. (remember to give write permissions over the shared folder)
Another option to try is adding exceptions in windows firewall. (printers and folders sharing)
Maybe there´s a problem with the ntlm level ( Network security LAN Manager authentication level (Windows 10) | Microsoft Docs )

PD. Sorry for my poor english.

Check the advanced sharing settings on the laptop. allow public sharing, turn off password protected sharing etc.

This is a known issue, check Kyocera support there is a bulletin out, involves updating the fw.

Had this same thing the other day, if it isn’t the fw then go control panel-programmes and features and switch on SMB1

Check your network profile on whether you are running Public or Private/Home network. Windows 10 would default this to Public and SMB will not work under that setting. If it's set to Public just click the Homegroup setting and this will ask you to change it to Private.

Follow the suggestions from the other posts, Windows Firewall by default does not allow SMB so you have to go to the Inbound/Outbound rules and enable it. One other thing you need to re-check is how you shared the folder the machine is scanning to. Just clicking on share this folder does not work in Win10, you have to use the advanced sharing adding the username you have in the machine to the list with full control. We also make sure that same username is on the security tab with full control. You will get an 1102 code even if the username/password are correct but the user does not have access to the folder being scanned to.
