    How to change the thickness of the paper so that it passes more slowly through the fuser unit?

    Changing media type settings perhaps?

    this is accomplished by setting the media type(paper type) to be the same as the actual paper, or arbitrarily set it to "thick" or even "heavy". Experimentation might be necessary with this setting for unusually heavy print coverage.

    Should be able to change from main screen, there should be a button saying Paper settings. Select the tray and change the media type.
