Kyocera 6052ci Black copies are Blank

I am working on a Kyocera 6052with blank black copies. The customer was complaining of half of the paper was blank and the other half with text. I notice that the grey plung in the front of the developer would not go back in. I order another developer and the plunger goes back in the front of the developer but all the black copies are still blank. I have done calibration as describe on installation sheet. What could this be? Its not the drum, I installed a new black developer, I made sure the developer pins in the front were not bent, All the contact and springs in the back of the developer are there when compared to other colors

Does the developer have a shipping sheet installed against the mag roller?

I haven't installed a new developer in this series yet but the previous machines included a shipping sheet that would cause blank copies if it wasn't removed during installation.

check black developer for malfunctioning "button" that engages the roller to the drum. it should click in and stay, and release with the pinch handle. otherwise, replace.
