Hi Guys,
I have a problem with a TA 250ci: every 2/3 months prints dirty copies.
I already clean the printer but after 2 months problem come back.
When I remove transfer belt I see a lot of dirty on black drum. Other drums and dev are ok, there's no problem with color components.
See the attacched image.
I replace the "image formation holder" with another TA here on my lab and I check the k drum's cleaning blade.
Any ideas?

Try to run paper from the bypass. If the bypass doesn't have drive it means the cleaning motor for the transfer belt is bad and that's causing these lines on the drum. You can clean the lines but they'll just come back.
Never mind....Just took a closer look at the pictures.... you've got a bad black drum cleaning motor. Take the back cover off and watch to see if the motor turns. Ypu shpild see 4 motors in line just underneath and behind the drum drive motors. Two have white stickers, 2 have yellow stickers. The one on the far right as you are facing the back of the machine is the motor you need to check.
I've seen a few seized up black cleaning units, often with broken cleaning augers. Fortunately, the Saturn series never had the propensity to seize the drum onto the drum shaft, making it nearly impossible to remove (like the VoyagerE series). There's another possibility though...
If a tech has had the main drive or HVT out recently there's a possibility that he pinched one or more of the wires to the black cleaning motor to frame ground with the mounting tab of the magenta drum motor. I'll give you one guess how I know. =^..^=

1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Problem solved: the black drum cleaning motor has wire disconnected.
Now I have to clean accurately black drum and the TA is ready to rock again!
