Pry on right side with straight screwdriver.
I finally got frustrated and did just that. It was stuck and the left side as you look at it in the machine. I forced it out. Glad I didn't break anything other than the empty toner cartridge. The new cartridge goes in ok and comes out ok.Originally Posted by tech28
Have had that happen on a handful of those machines, nothing broken, nothing out of place, just wont come out, ?, strange birds they are. Like the toner add problem.
I find it's usually because the user doesn't have the cartridge completely seated and forces the lever into position, jamming the lock mechanism.
