OK, went there, clutch was working but to be sure I opened the flimsy toyish part to give it a good clean and inspect it further. Still no K image so I have to bite the bullit and get a new developer unit.
BTW, developing units are mechanically coded, so no way using a color unit in place of the K unit for testing.

As mentioned before, clutch is working OK. Replaced the Developing Unit K with a new one and machine is up and working again.

    Thanks for your help guys!

Customer came up now with another issues with this machine:

It takes an annoying long time to wake up from energy saving/sleep mode when sending a print to it. Where can I adjust this? No need for any kind of energy saving or sleep mode here.

Another thing is that the user wants to scan from the platen (not ADF) more than one document to be put together as one PDF. The KonicaMinolta's I am familiar with can do this. Can the Kyocera too? Where to find the settings please?

The scan function that you seek is called "Continuous Scan". It allows you to group stacks of scanned originals into a single PDF. That includes scans from the copyboard glass.

I've attached the pages about Energy Saver Mode. Keep in mind that there are serious drawbacks to lengthening out the sleep timer. These fusers are not the greatest, and definitely will not make yield if it's always hot. To get the longest life you'll want that sleep timer at 3 minutes or less.

This information came from the operators guide. =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Any of you guys having the parts manual for me please? The tech manual I have already.

    LOL, thanks Cat

This customer is a little tricky. Always looking over my shoulder when I'm there and I do not want to look too inchoate not only searching the menu of the machine but also skimming the manual for info.........
