    Kyocera fs 6525

MAchine has a 470 finisher with staples . 2 months ago it stops staplling. When i get in menu for sorting there aRE 4 IMAGES INSTEAD OF 6 . The two missing images are those for staplling. I checked staples and staple mechanism and looks fine . Any idea?

Have you run a reset (906) in the maintenance/ adjustment menu?

I learned a hard lesson that this reset has been moved from simulations to the regular system menu.

There is no U906 on the Hanabi's. It's called "Enable Repaired Unit": System Menu/Counter > ^/v to Adjustment/Maint. > ^/v to Service Setting > ^/v to Enable Repaired Unit > Start.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

fs-6525 has no u906. "reset disabled unit" on models like this, is accomplished as per Black Cat's menu instructions.

The finisher probably had a stapler jam or belt sensor error, and therefore will not offer to staple until the menu instructions are executed.

The correction comes from this comment.

I referred to the reset itself as a "906" because that's 10+ years of Kyocera vernacular. I clearly say it's been moved from simulations to the system menu. But who needs to read beyond the first sentence these days...

Can we apply Occam's Razor for a moment?

Which do you think is the most likely? That your personal shorthand is inaccurate (at best confusing), or that everyone else is stupid/just wrong? =^..^=

Not everyone. Just the people who skipped past everything I said.

    My second sentence was

I learned a hard lesson that this reset has been moved from simulations to the regular system menu.

Two people then interject to tell me I'm wrong: the reset has been moved from simulations to the regular system menu.

I even included a link that goes into great detail about it.
