Hi All

Have had to fit a secondhand fax module from a different machine to one of these models.
The machine works fine without it attached but when fax installed i get a c0620 error which relates to the dimm.
I have read somewhere before that there is a reset in the service mode but for the life of me cant remember what it is.
Any help greatly apprieciated.

Did you remove the small dimm from the machine you took the fax unit from? They come as a pair and installing it to new machine should correct your problem.

When installing a fax module from a different machine you have to reinitialize the fax memory .

You need to run Maint Mode U671 and select "Recovery FAX DIMM". See Below;

0620 FAX image DIMM error
1. The Fax image DIMM has not been installed.
2. Fax image DIMM access error.

U671 Clear FAX back up data
Description
The communication history information of fax / Internet fax and the fax transmitting reservation information which are backed up on the FAX control circuit board are cleared.
Moreover, memory DIMM is initialized.
Purpose
It carries out for the prevention from an information leak of backup data.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the item.
3. Press the start key. Backup data is cleared.
4. When "Recovery FAX DIMM" or "FAX DIMM Clear" is selected, turn the main power switch off and on. Allow more than 5 seconds between Off and On.
Completion
Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

I have kyocera 6525 . earlier installation after someday's that machine is hand and display showing please wait , I changed the main pwb machine was working, machine working fine after replacing main pwb and now after a month that happens come again same problem is appear machine showing in display " Please Wait " , i want to knows why this machine give me that problem and how can i fixed this machine without changing main pwb, what exactly a problem in main pwb.. please suggest me helpful answer
