Hi all
Was wondering if anyone has come across the print quality issue i am having intermittently on a utax 3005ci\Taskalpha 3051ci.
To date the charge roller and transfer belt have been changed and the issue dissappears but is one of thoses that comes back every now and then but is usually gone by the time we arrive on site and cant get to recreate the issue.
Please see the attached as an example of the issue. The back round of the page should be cream not multicoloured

Does the magenta background extend out the edge of the paper, through the voids? Did you do a color calibration after either of these parts replacements? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Toner curve adj, if that doesn't fix it a Magenta DV unit
All install cslibrations done for the units and all sky shots of dev units ok.
For some reason I’m unable to view PDFs, but you problem sounds like a common one we see here when it rains.
We have found all the TA series with the long life consumables don’t tolerate dampness or humidity.
In these cases we would run a couple of drum and dev refreshes, calibrate etc, and if it recovers ok we then fit the dehumidifier under the trays and turn them on (U327 mode 2. )
Sometimes we have found the drums are unrecoverable and just have to be replaced.
All the old generation had these dehumidifiers as standard but now they are an option.
The new models have heaters built into the drum/dev area which can be turned on thru the control panel.
run AC Calibration in U464 everytime you visit these machines to avoid this exact issue. if you run it now after checking the magenta unit it should be fine. no need to replace. what count is on the Developer?
