Had a almist new fs-4200dn and had a broken cover. Tried to replaced from another machine and now the copies come blank. Didn't try another developer/drum yet. Just in case I fried it.....

Thank you, it was just as you said. When the cover closed it would actually close the flap.
Just wish every kyocera machine woukd ve so easy to get to the laser......

It's a semi official mod to remove the flap to prevent blank pages and to prevent an issue were it's rather hard to close the top cover.
