TA8052ci new firmware

So the other day I installed the latest firmware for this machine and it quit scanning to SMB and the customer is using server 2003. I hooked my laptop to it and worked fine. No matter how I tried to redo the folder would not scan so I put the older version back on it worked great. Anyone ever run into this?

any errors produced?

can you see the folder from the unit?

sounds like a firewall maybe blocking the communication.
