    crooked copies

I am working on a M3550idn. Copies come out fine from paper cassettes. When using the bypass there is a slight slant. Any ideas or has anyone else experienced this. Thank you all in advance.

I once had a broken cover ie the black bit that holds the mp tray and where the paper passes over into the registration area. I recall seeing the piece in the part list, but it had no asociated part number.

    Haven't really checked since.

Also check for obvious things like pieces of paper stuck somewhere between the mp tray and the registration or the side guides that open during printing.

Check out this thread... TA-8002 belt run off

The picture with the feed assembly is most likely your problem..Assuming that cass guides are tight and parallel.
