TASKalfa 2551ci parts pipe transfer cleaning assy

    Hi Guys,

We all know the problem in TASKalfa 2551ci (TA 2550ci, FS-C8520MFP too) with the waste toner pipe assembly.

When I run into this problem usually I order a new WT Pipe like suggested in technical bullettin.

    Part to order is:
302K094043 PARTS PIPE TRANSFER CLEANING ASSY SP

There is also the possibility to order single broken parts.
So with a little patience and the following codes you are able to repair the broken pipe.

    302K003680 SCREW TRANSFER CLEANING A - Qty: 1
    302K003670 GEAR TRANSFER CLEANING Z19L - Qty: 2
    302K003610 SPONGE TRANSFER CLEANING - Qty: 1

I think I miss a component. Old WT have not a stopper so compared to the new WT pipe I miss this stopper.
    Look at the pictures.

    Anyone knows the code?
Have you ever encountered the same problem?

    Thank you in advance,
    Kyove

Today I changed WT Pipe Assy on a TASKalfa 2550ci (which had the same component of 2551ci).

I took a photo so you can see the older version of pipe: stopper is missing.

    Anyone knows the code?

I have a box of miscellaneous clips in my case.

If it were me I would forage in my case. It looks like a common size. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If I may highjack this thread, how easy is this pipe to change? Procedure not listed in service manual.

Service bulletin f162. You don't have to take the back or high voltage pcb off. Just reach in an flex shaft.

Yeah, it looks easy, but it's time consuming and that front plastic assembly is awkward to remove and install. If ONLY they put access holes for those two screws it would be unnecessary to remove the whole front and the lefthand side. I'm seriously considering making a drilling template for myself to try making access holes, since we have a significant quantity of these in service.

    KDC is learning...
But i think same issue will happen on new systems also.
On Hanabi2HyPAS/M8124cidn both holes are implemented from factory now.
For older Hanabi Range, you can order new "Cover inner fron"t, but not available for Jupiter range!!
Sometimes i think that japanese guys are a little bit stupid...

After the second one I was thinking the same thing....Just two properly placed holes will eliminate the need to remove the inner cover...Major time and nerve saver..
